Believe In You


To have the strength to change the world
Some say it isn't easy
But I think all you need is to believe


Believe in yourself and that you can do great things
Believe that you have the ability to erase unhappy things


To have the power to change the world from head to toe
To help the needy and save the poor
To be generous to the ones less fortunate than you
All you need is to believe in you


To have the strength to be nice to the ones who are mean to you
To love the people who hate you
To amaze the world that expects little from you
All you need is to believe in you


Before I end this poem
There is one more thing I'd like to say


You took me in arms
helped me float when I was about to drown


You held my hand when I fell
And picked me up off the ground



The world doesn't match up to a cent without you
So I just want you to know

I too believe in you
